Sipper - Thrown and altered porcelain with hand made textures in thick layers of slip, and layered glazes. Includes volatile modifier glazes over stable base glazes to encourage complex interactions of color across strong organic surfaces. High fired in a gas kiln with a heavily reduced atmosphere. Colors include rosy red, deep purple into pale powder blue, golden tan, red-tan, & black.
